Length: about 12 miles
Elevation: 1,320'-1,800'
Surface: Single-track
Physical Difficulty: Intermediate
Technical Difficulty: Intermediate
Season: Spring, Summer, Fall
Lush Forests, cool swimming holes, beautiful waterfalls, and great single-track; what else could you want?

  • From Eugene head south on I-5 to Cottage Grove
  • Turn left at the light just off the Highway
  • Continue East past Dorena Reservoir and take the 2nd bridge crossing on the right just past Culp Creek.
  • After about 3 miles take the right-hand fork towards Cedar Creek and Lund Park campgrounds.
  • The Trailhead is on the left about 1 mile after entering the Umpqua National Forest
  • Total Driving Time: about 1 hour.

From the trailhead the route follows the north bank of Brice Creek through lush forests of mature Douglas-Fir and Wester Red-cedar. Rocky and exposed in some places the trail can be challenging even though it doesn't gain much elevation.
Footbridges span the Brice Creek at Cedar Creek and Lund Park Campgrounds providing the option of bailing out and riding the road back to the trailhead.
Approximately 1 mile from the end of the trail you'll pass a side trail heading up to the Upper Trestle Creek Falls. To make a loop with this trail, continue past to the end of the Brice Creek Trail at road #22. Look to the left of the road for a trail climbing up to the upper falls. Its a stiff climb at first but well worth it. The falls are fantastic and the descent back to Brice Creek is just as good. Once back on the trail, back track to the trailhead by turing right at the trail junction.
This is a popular area for other trail users so remember to share the trail.
