From the trailhead the route follows the north bank of Brice
Creek through lush forests of mature Douglas-Fir and Wester
Red-cedar. Rocky and exposed in some places the trail can
be challenging even though it doesn't gain much elevation.
Footbridges span the Brice
Creek at Cedar Creek and Lund Park Campgrounds providing the
option of bailing out and riding the road back to the trailhead.
Approximately 1 mile from the end
of the trail you'll pass a side trail heading up to the Upper
Trestle Creek Falls. To make a loop with this trail, continue
past to the end of the Brice Creek Trail at road #22. Look
to the left of the road for a trail climbing up to the upper
falls. Its a stiff climb at first but well worth it. The falls
are fantastic and the descent back to Brice Creek is just
as good. Once back on the trail, back track to the trailhead
by turing right at the trail junction.
This is a popular area for other trail
users so remember to share the trail. |
